Our Philosophy
Cynergy Dance Company has been committed to providing one of the best recreational and highly competitive dance education centers in San Antonio since 2003. Our experienced, talented instructors work with each and every student, from dance enthusiasts to seasoned professionals, developing their skills while fostering their passion for movement.
Dance is where artistry and athleticism meet, and this theme carries through all classes taught at Cynergy Dance Company. Students receive the type of training that turns them not just into successful dancers, but accomplished human beings, prepared to achieve whatever they set their minds to.

Cynergy's mission is to provide quality dance instruction focused on improving skill and technique 100% of the time, instill self-confidence, make a positive impact to every student and provide an enjoyable and memorable dance experience."
Cynergy Dance Curriculum
Cynergy provides professional, skilled and master dance instruction for ages 3-Adult. Dance curriculum includes Ballet, Pre-Pointe, Pointe, Tap, Jazz, Hip-Hop, Lyrical Modern, Expressive Movement, Folklorico, Competitive and Recreational Dance Team Instruction, Preparation for High School Dance and Drill Team, Creative Dance for Pre-school children. Additional dance instruction for private individual and group lessons are available for Special Events.
Cynergy Dance Commitment
Class registration is a commitment we encourage for the entire year. Instructors will work with each student individually and as a group during this time to enhance dance skills and develop techniques that will improve agility, dance performance, musicality, rhythm, and confidence. Cynergy provides dance classes for the entire family and is committed to providing a fun and challenging learning environment as well as build selfconfidence.
Dance Schedule
Class schedule(s) are subject to change at any time. Studio owner will make decision to close any class at any time based on low class demand or enrollment. A confirmation notice will be received once a student is registered on line. If you do not receive a confirmation, please call our office to confirm class is available.
Class Attendance
We encourage each student to arrive on time for each class. Students arriving later than 15 minutes may be asked to sit and observe class or stretch prior to participating in the class activities.
Refunds or discounts in tuition will not be given for missed classes. If a class is missed due to an emergency or illness, please see the instructor for a make up class. In order to ensure that each student receives full benefit from working with their class members and instructors on routines and technique, we ask that all students make every effort to attend each class.

Tuition Rates
​
Tuition Rates will be based on the number of class hours taken each week. All students enrolling in the Fall/Spring/Summer sessions will be subject to tuition rates listed and an annual registration fee of $45. Payments options below may be selected at time of registration only. A $35.00 late fee will be assessed for tuition received after the 5th day of each month. Automatic payments that are rejected due to expired card or insufficent funds will also receive $35 late payment fee after the 5th day.

Registration Fee
Registration fee is $35.00 per student. The fee is due at time of registration to secure spot in class and will be charged to student invoices once a year. Registration fee is non-refundable.

Tuition Discounts
There is one discount per family. Discounts are available for high school dance an drill team members & NESA Students- Student ID must be shown. There are NO REFUND FOR MISSED CLASSES. Makeup classes can be made within 1 week of class. Please consult with instructor or front desk assistant for more details.

​Tuition Payments
​
​The class tuition is due on the 31st or 1st day of each month. A $35 late fee will be assessed if payment received after the 5th. Monthly tuition payments will be the same each month. Partial payments will not be accepted.
All tuition and fees are non-refundable. Full tuition is due without decuction for the following holidays: Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, Spring Break and Fourth of July Holidays.

Tuition Auto Payment Option
Monthly tuition can be secured with a Mastercard, Visa, American Express or Discover credit card for the semester enrolled. If the tuition payment is not received by the 1st day of class each month with check, cash, or credit card, Cynergy Dance will automatically add a late payment fee of $35 to the tuition amount due each month. If payment is not received by the 15th day of the month, students will not be allowed to attend the class. Return Check Fees A $35 return check fee will be charged for all returned checks.

The return fee will be requested along with the tuition payment amount due. No exceptions! All qualifying monthly automatic payment plan enrollments will be discounted $5 off the monthly tuition (Jan-May, June-Aug, Aug-Dec) on the terms that Cynergy Dance Company will process the automatic payment on the 31st or 1st day of each month. A credit card using a mastercard, visa or American express card may be used for the payment to be deducted.
Return Fees
​
Payments that are rejected or returned due to insufficient funds will be charged a $35 return fee when the payment amount is posted. Enrolling in the automatic payment plan will ensure timely payment is received. A 30 day written notice of class cancellation must be provided to dance studio management to prevent additional charges to card.

No Refunds Policy
Refunds will not be given for missed classes. Students will be allowed to make up class times in another opened/scheduled dance class provided during same week of missed class. If under 18 yrs of age, parent or guardian must complete consent form prior to taking first class.
A 5% FAMILY discount given on combined tuition payments received from two or more immediate family members (must be siblings or parents).
Students missing more than three consecutive classes will be required to pay new registration fee prior to returning to class. Registration fee is non-refundable.
Withdrawal Policy
​
Parents or adult students must complete a withdrawal or submit a notice to cancel at least 30 days in advance to cancel or stop the auto payment contract for the next month. Refunds and credits will not be given for any tuition, registration fees, costumes, recital fees or any fees paid. The registration fee paid will be good for one year if the student wishes to return during the same calendar year to continue taking classes.

Class Makeup Policy
Makeup classes can be made within 1 week of class. Please consult with instructor or front desk to request permission and to schedule attendance for makeup classes. Refunds are not given for classes that students do not make up.

Class Trial
New students may take ONE FREE class trial. All other classes taken will be subject to a class drop in rate of $18 per class for a 45 min to 1 hour class. Please consult with instructor or front desk to request permission and to schedule attendance for makeup classes. Refunds are not given for classes that students do not make up.

Studio Rental
Dance studio rental fees will be based on number of students using the studio space/class room. Rental fees will start at $35 per hour. Studio rental fee with 2-3 participants will be $45 per hour. Groups of three or more requesting a studio rentals will be $50 per hour. Please consult with instructor or front desk to request permission and to reserve a date for your studio rental.
Private Lessons

Private lessons are available for solo choreography, technique review and for group lessons. Instructor fees will vary per instructor. It is best to contact our office to further discuss your request.

Studio & Classroom Etiquette
​
Please come to class prepared to learns
​
Students and teachers must adhere to dress code standards. Instructors may dismiss a student from class who is not dressed in proper attire.
​
Students arriving late to class must wait for the instructor's permission to enter the classroom.
​
Smile and bring a positive attitude to class.
Pay attention to instruction.
Do not talk when instructor is teaching.
Listen and follow directions without interrupting.
Respect your classmates and instructors.
​
Take all corrections constructively and apply corrections as needed.
​
Cynergy Dance does not tolerate bullying and will not hesitate to dismiss a student who demonstrates such behavior.
Be kind to your classmates. Displays of temper and rudeness are unacceptable. Absolutely NO GOSSIP!
Be courteous to students learning while you are waiting for your class to begin.
If you become disruptive and/or do not choose to participate in class instruction, you will be asked to sit down and observe quietly.
Strive to be the best always and choose to say, “I will try”. This will help you to achieve more. Saying, “I can’t”, anchors your possibilities
There is no chewing gum in class.
Food and drinks are not allowed in class rooms. .
No jewelry (expect for stud earrings)

Studio break room is the only room that may be used to hold food items. No hot meals or open containers allowed in the dance studio lobby area.
​
Parents are not allowed in classrooms unless the instructors invites them in.
​
Items left at studio will be kept in the lost and found area. If items are not picked up in a timely manner, they will be donated.
​
Have fun while in class!

*​Jewelry must not be worn with the exception of small stud earrings.​ Street shoes should not be worn in the classroom.
*​Dancers need to remove their dance shoes after class. Do not wear dance shoes outside of studio.
*Proper dance apparel and dance shoes should be worn by all students and instructors. Dance wear recommended below may be purchased at Dorothy's Dance Shop.
